Five unlicensed cannabis shop caretakers taken to Pattaya Police Station – VIDEO

Pattaya –

Five unlicensed cannabis shop caretakers were taken to the Pattaya City Police Station.

Last night, (January 6th), Pattaya City Police, Tourist Police, and the Ministry of Public Health inspected cannabis shops in the Pattaya area.

One cannabis shop on Pattaya Walking Street and four cannabis shops in Soi Bua Khao were found with no legal license to sell cannabis. Those caretakers from cannabis shops were taken to the Pattaya City Police for further legal action.

The names of the specific venues were not released by Pattaya Police.

The Ministry of Public Health and relevant officers have already been publicizing about cannabis laws previously.

Pattaya City Police, Tourist Police, and the Ministry of Public Health inspected multiple cannabis shops around Pattaya to check on compliance around tighter rules recently set in place in Thailand.

Pattaya police, led by Chief Kunlachart Kunlachai, warned unlicensed street cannabis sellers on Walking Street that if they were not licensed, they would have to go.
