This week, families lay their loved ones and children to rest as leaders continue to express condolences and question if changes should be made to laws or policies for the future.
The incident in which a foreign journalism team trespassed on the crime scene property to shoot footage has also shaken and angered many in the nation and dominated news over the weekend and has had some netizens ask questions about media coverage of tragic events in general.
Some Thai politicians are asking for possible changes to gun and drug laws due to the role both played in the mass shooting last week. This is likely to be a debate that will take time and reflection from many sides.
