Police raid alleged illegal nightclub in Pattaya

Pattaya –

Police raided what they called an illegal nightclub that was open past the legal time of 2:00 A.M. in Pattaya.

A team from the Banglamung District Office and the Pattaya City Police raided ‘169 Club’ at 3:06 A.M. early this morning (December 15th).

More than 100 nightclub goers were found enjoying music and drinking alcohol. Officers ordered to turn off the music. A nightclub manager whose name was not given to the press was unable to present a legal license for the nightclub.

The manager was taken to the Pattaya City Police Station for further legal action.

This was only the latest in near daily raids on bars and clubs in the Pattaya area. Pattaya police stated they feel these raids make tourists feel safe and secure. A prime focus has been the 2 AM legal closure time in Pattaya.
