This morning, a steady and heavy stream of water was flowing to Pattaya beach into the sea after heavy rains in which the beach from North Pattaya to South Pattaya was washed away.

Huge holes were also found on the beach. Garbage was found stuck at a water pump at Soi Six causing partial obstruction.

Locals residents and beach vendors have asked relevant officials to quickly solve these problems. Pattaya City spent millions of baht to install new drainage systems last year, however, the work is not complete across the city according to officials and was delayed due to the Covid19 pandemic. Additional phases of the drainage construction recently began again.
