Heavy rain brings flooding to Pattaya and Banglamung – VIDEO

Pattaya, Banglamung-

Heavy rain in Pattaya and Banglamung early this morning caused flooding on many Pattaya and Banglamung roads.

The heavy rain hit around 3:00 AM and lasted for about three hours.

Water found on road surfaces ranged from about 10 centimeters to over 80 centimeters high.

However, the flooding did not affect traffic as it was still early in the morning but some vehicles were still stuck in the flood waters. The weather also fell after a religious holiday in which entertainment venues had been closed the prior day.

The heaviest flooding was reported on Pattaya Beach Road, Pattaya Third Road, Central Pattaya Road, North Pattaya Road, South Pattaya Road, Sukhumvit Road and the Railway Road in Soi Khao Talo.

Traffic police and law enforcement officers assisted to direct motorists with the traffic and to assist with those stranded in floodwaters.

However, it took not so long for water levels on roads to decrease back to normal following the rain.
