Police Raid Uncovers Drug Party in Sri Racha, Detain 68 Youths

In the early hours of February 28th, 2024, officers from Region 2 Police conducted a raid on a house in the Bang Phra sub-district, Sri Racha district, Chonburi, where a party reportedly involving illegal drug use was taking place.

Acting on a tip, authorities descended upon the location at around 4:00 AM and encountered a gathering of 68 Thai teenagers, consisting of 39 males and 29 females. Upon arrival, officers observed signs of drug use and intoxication among some of the teens, who were engaged in a full-swing party.

Police promptly shut down the party and conducted a search of the premises, resulting in a discovery of various illegal drugs, including ecstasy, methamphetamine, and ketamine, packaged in plastic bags. Additionally, some individuals were also found carrying firearms.

Investigations revealed that the group of youths originated from various locations within Chonburi, including Mueang district, Sri Racha, and Pattaya. All 68 individuals were apprehended by the police and are currently undergoing urine tests as part of the ongoing legal proceedings.
