Chiang Mai tourist police interviewed two tourists who sunbathed in swimwear in the old temple area in Chiang Mai on January 14th, causing controversy among Thai social media regarding appropriateness.

2. Husband’s False Confession Unveils Shocking Twist: Thai Teens Exposed in Brutal Assault and Murder of Mentally Ill Woman in Sa Kaeo.

3. Thai national media reported a fireworks factory explosion accident in Mueang, Suphanburi, causing 23 casualties and 6 injuries confirmed as of press time.

4. Samae Dam police received an accident report of a crane sling snapping causing one death and one injury to construction workers on Rama 2 Road, Soi 72, Bang Khun Thian, Bangkok.

The two victims were mechatronics technicians.

5. A train driver has been pronounced dead at the scene after a train coming from Bangkok – Chiang Mai collided with a trailer truck in the Chum Saeng district.

Six other people had sustained injuries including the unidentified truck driver.
