Wanted Chinese Man Arrested in Pattaya

A Chinese man wanted in China was arrested in Pattaya on Saturday, December 16th.

A joint operation between Nong Bua Lamphu police, the Crime Suppression Division Region 4, and the Immigration Bureau Region 3, resulted in the successful arrest of a Chinese national, Mr. Wang (last name withheld), 42, on Saturday.

Mr. Wang was apprehended due to his possession of a revoked passport, which rendered him in violation of Thailand’s immigration laws.

Authorities located Mr. Wang at the parking lot of a spa in Pattaya, Chonburi province. They confirmed his identity and determined that he was wanted by the People’s Republic of China due to an unspecified arrest warrant.

Mr. Wang was taken into custody and subsequently handed over to Immigration Bureau Region 3 for further legal processing and deportation.
