  1. The Metropolitan Police is asking the public to find a Thai female suspect who is allegedly involved in the murder of a Taiwanese man at a hotel in Bangkok.

Lots of fake dollar banknotes were found along with a counterfeiting machine inside the room where a Taiwanese man was murdered at a hotel in Bangkok, say police officers familiar with the investigation.

The circumstances behind the bizarre incident are still being investigated.

2. Thailand’s Cabinet has greenlighted the Marriage Equality Bill to pave the way for the legalization of same-sex marriage.

The Marriage Equality Bill is expected to be formally submitted during the upcoming Parliament session, slated to commence on December 12th, 2023.

3. Thai police captured a Chinese woman in suspicion of being involved in human trafficking who allegedly begged for money in the Bangkok area.

Six alleged Chinese beggars were captured from November 10th to the 20th, 2023.

This incident has also sparked a series of crackdowns on foreign beggars around Thailand.

4. On November 24th, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand released a congratulatory statement on the release of the first batch of 12 Thai hostages.

The Royal Thai Government expresses its thanks to all from whom it sought assistance in securing the release of these first hostages held by Hamas in the Gaza strip.

5. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is inviting all to experience one of Thailand’s oldest and most colourful festivals while gaining insights into the charming traditions of Chiang Mai, Roi Et, Samut Songkhram, Sukhothai, and Tak at the Loi Krathong Festival 2023 at Bangkok’s Phadung Krung Kasem Canal.

TAT encourages all to use krathongs made from biodegradable materials and limit the floating to one krathong per family wherever in Thailand they celebrate the festival.
