The police performed an investigation and found the alleged Thai woman who was publicly identified as Mrs. Napaporn Rodkum, 38. Consequently, the police requested an arrest warrant from the Pattaya Provincial Court and successfully tracked down Napaporn.

Initially, Napaporn reportedly confessed her wrongdoings in that she had known the Turkish tourist via a dating application for three days. The victim, Mr. Ruhan T., reportedly brought her to a hotel in South Pattaya and handed her 700 dollars to buy alcoholic beverages, said Napaporn.
However, Napaporn reportedly admitted, with greed, that she intended to swindle the money and a smartphone, an iPhone 14 Pro, which contained her pictures as she was afraid that the police might know her identity. She then reportedly threw the phone away at the Krathinglai intersection, Bang Lamung, Chonburi.

The police officers then took Napaporn to locate Rohan’s phone and brought her to inquiry officers for further legal process.
