It’s been a headache for tourists, residents, and certainly business owners for the past about two years but Pattaya City officials say the construction work on Soi 15 Buakhao is finally done.
We have covered the long-delayed and problem-filled project many times in the past, such as recently here when Pattaya City officials pledged to finish the road by the end of September.
Even as shortly as a few weeks ago the project had more issues, including a python causing an electrical wire fire, as we reported here.
Finally, however, the road is open normally with what city officials say are new drainage systems that should prevent flooding both on Soi Buakhao 15 and the nearby area. It probably could not have come any sooner for local residents and businesses.
Second Road and Beach Road work should be done soon, Pattaya officials recently added.
