Thief Breaks into Car and Steals Items Worth 14,000 Baht from Pattaya Woman

A thief broke into the car of a Thai woman, parked at a famous market in South Pattaya, and stole her valuables worth over 14,000 baht on September 11th.

The break-in happened at night at a well-known market in South Pattaya, Banglamung district, Chonburi.

The victim, only identified by local media as Ms. Tanasarn, 26, stated that she arrived at the market around 5:30 PM to open her clothing store. However, when she returned to her car at night, her black shoulder bag, containing over 14,000 baht in cash, had vanished from the front passenger seat and a front side car window was smashed.

Ms. Tanasarn assumed that someone had stolen her belongings due to the smashed car door window. The victim has already filed a report with the Pattaya Police and advised others not to leave their valuables inside their cars.
