Young Woman Slightly Injured After Crashing Her Car Into a Construction Site in Pattaya

Pattaya –

A female driver has escaped severe injuries after she crashed her sedan into road barriers before overturning on an under-construction road in Pattaya.

Captain Chonlawit Athipansri of the Pattaya City Police was notified of the accident at 4:00 A.M. on Tuesday (August 22nd) on the Sukhumvit Road near the Boon Kanjanaram Intersection in Nongprue.

Police, emergency responders, and the Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the overturned sedan on the road. The driver, Ms. Siriphon Srisuan, 28, had sustained only minor injuries.

A witness, Mr. Jakkrawut Nakchay, 29, told the Pattaya News that the road is under construction with many road barriers. The sedan driver hardly crashed into the barriers before the sedan overturned many times. He and his brother helped the driver out from the sedan.

The Pattaya City Police are checking CCTV footage nearby to find the exact cause of the accident.

This is the second road accident in roughly the same area with the same construction barriers in less than a week as we reported here. In the other accident, the driver claimed the barriers were not well-lit, although critics on our own social media stated the area had many lights, disagreeing with the driver.

In both accidents, the drivers were not majorly injured despite overturned vehicles.
