Private Company to Invest 40 Billion Baht into U-Tapao Airport Expansion

The investment plan for UTA in U-Tapao has been revised from the original 4 phases to 6 phases, with the following passenger capacity projections:

• Phase 1: Initially planned for 15.9 million passengers per year, revised to 12 million passengers per year by 2027.
• Phase 2: An additional capacity of 15.9 million passengers per year (by 2030).
• Phase 3: Originally planned for 30 million passengers per year, revised to 22.4 million passengers per year by 2034.
• Phase 4: An additional capacity of 30 million passengers per year by 2034.
• Phase 5: Originally planned for 45 million passengers per year, staying roughly the same at 45 million passengers per year by 2047.
• Phase 6: Maintaining the original plan of 60 million passengers per year by 2060.
