Sri Racha –

Three people have been pronounced dead at the scene after a motorbike was crashed into by a hit-and-run truck driver in Sri Racha.

The Nong Kham Police in Sri Racha was notified of the accident on Saturday morning around dawn (June 10th) in the Nong Kham sub-district. The police arrived at the intersection along with first responders to find a damaged motorbike lying on the road.

Nearby, rescue teams found three bodies, a man and two women. No identification documents were found with them. One other man had sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a local hospital.

Witnesses told police that there was a truck that suddenly crashed into the motorbike but the truck did not stop. However, police are checking CCTV footage nearby to find the exact cause of the accident and to attempt to track down the hit-and-run driver. Law Enforcement noted that the motorbike was overloaded with people, with four individuals on a single motorbike.

The survivor remained in a hospital in serious but stable condition as of press time but was unable to be interviewed due to his injuries.
