Unidentified Male Body Found on Koh Larn Beach, Police Investigating, Foul Play Not Ruled Out

An unidentified male body was found on a beach on Koh Larn, Pattaya.

The Pattaya City Police were notified of the body on Saturday (May 27th) on a beach near the Na Yak Cliff. Police and the Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the deceased male of Asian descent (similar to Thai, but unclear if he is Thai) aged around 40.

His right arm was buried under the sand. He was shirtless with pants pulled down to the feet and wounds were found on his face and head. Police believed that the man died at least 12 hours before his body was found. A shirt was also found near his body.

The Pattaya City Police Chief Colonel Thanapong Poethi told the Pattaya News. “At this stage we cannot identify how he died. We are also trying to identify who the man was. An autopsy is being conducted to find his cause of death for further investigation.”
