Laotian Rider Seriously Injured After Chonburi Vehicle Accident

A Laotian rider has sustained serious injuries after her motorbike collided with a pickup truck in the Mueang Chonburi district.

The Don Hualor police were notified of the accident on Friday night (January 27th) on the Don Sattapong Road in the Don Hualor sub-district.

Emergency responders and the Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find Miss. SENG INTHAMA VONG, 30, Laotian national. She had sustained severe head injuries. She was rushed to a nearby hospital.

Nearby, rescue workers found the damaged motorbike and damaged pickup truck. The pickup truck driver, Mr. Chonlasit Kaewwangsarn, 21, had not been injured.

CCTV footage nearby shows the motorbike was coming out from another road. The pickup truck which was driving at high speed from a straight away crashed into the motorbike. The pickup truck pulled the motorbike many meters before stopping.

However, the Don Hualor Police are continuing their investigation for further legal action.
