Several floods and damage was reported in Pattaya after a sudden downpour overnight.

The Pattaya News reporters on the ground spotted several floods across the city early this morning, June 21st, after Pattaya was hit by a heavy downpour around 1:00 A.M. It was also reported that numerous Pattaya residents, both locals and tourists, reproached the new mayor for what they called his “inactive approach” to the flood. One comment on Facebook ridiculed, “I thought all the holes in the road would help store the water”.
As of press time, the new Pattaya mayor Poramese “Beer” Ngampiches still has not responsded to this hectic incident but has made resolving flooding one of his first priorities.
