Prolific “Dale Earnhardt” graffiti artist caught on camera spraying metal shutter door in Pattaya – VIDEO

Pattaya-

An unidentified foreign graffiti artist, known for his prolific Dale Earnhardt graffiti seen across the city, was caught on CCTV footage while he was spraying a business shutter’s door in Pattaya early yesterday morning (May 17th).

CCTV footage yesterday shows the foreign man was spraying a metal shutter door of a closed business in the Pattaya area around 3:44 A.M. The fledgling artist left the name ‘Dale’ on his graffiti and the number 3, which appeared to be an artistic rendition of NASCAR racing legend Dale Earnhardt, who passed away in a racing accident in 2001 on the final lap of the Daytona 500.

The Pattaya News notes that Dale Earnhardt’s graffiti has been long seen across Pattaya, as evidenced in this Youtube video from an outside source.

Business owners and social media users are urging law enforcement action to be taken against the man. The fine for drawing or spraying paint in public places is up to 5,000 baht, especially if it involves damage to another’s property or business.

Pattaya Police are reportedly aware of the graffiti artist who is suspected to have been in the area for several years and is a foreign national and are pursuing leads to identify the man they believe is responsible for significant graffiti across the area.
