Two motorbike riders who had assaulted a young man in East Pattaya earlier this week have surrendered at Pattaya Police Station.

Update: Two days ago, the 23rd of March, the two suspects reportedly went to turn themselves in with the Superintendent of Pattaya Police Station, confessing that they were the ones who attacked a young man in public at Nong Prue sub-district, Bang Lamung, Chonburi earlier this week.

The arrest, however, was only announced this afternoon by law enforcement in Pattaya.

Mr. Krailas, last name not given by police, one of the suspects, admitted that he knew the victim, and they used to have an argument over their big bikes before (this was also the police’s first assumption).

On the day of the assault, a friend of Mr. Krailas told him that the victim was making fun of him and his bike, which enraged Mr. Krailas to rush to the victim with another friend and assaulted him.

As of now, the two suspects were charged with offenses of grievous bodily harm and were detained for further investigation.
