Howard B-On the positive side, all the usual… Scenery, cost of living, mostly nice people, good food, etc. Something I’m sure you’ll get from most respondents.

On the negative side, whenever I see the news on the west, the political divisions to the rampant social engineering, etc., I’m so relieved to no longer be in that insanity.

D.L.-Buddhism, believe it or not. I’m sure many folks will say girls, partying, and cost of living and that was fine in my youth but as I got older I became connected to Buddhism and although I am not a monk (although tried it for a while) I am a regular at meditation and temples and have several dedicated Buddhist teachers.
