Reportedly intoxicated motorbike rider seriously injured after colliding with sedan in Si Racha

Si Racha –

A reportedly intoxicated driver has sustained severe head injuries after his motorbike collided with a sedan in the Si Racha district yesterday (January 31st).

Emergency responders were notified of the accident at 5:30 P.M. on the Marp Eang – Laem Chabang Road in the Borwin sub-district.

The first responders arrived at the scene to find the injured man, identified only as Mr. Pakkawin, 27, lying on the road. Nearby they found the damaged motorbike, a helmet, and a cup with some beer inside. The injured motorbike rider was reportedly drinking from the cup while driving.

The damaged sedan was also found on the road. The sedan driver, whose name was not given to the press, told police the motorbike rider tried to avoid a crash with a parked vehicle on the left of the road before crashing into their sedan.

Police are continuing their investigation for further potential legal action.
