16-year-old girl rescued from drowning in Pattaya swimming pool

Pattaya –

A 16-year-old girl has been rescued from drowning at a swimming pool in a housing estate in Banglamung last night (September 6th).

Emergency responders were notified of the incident at 9:00 P.M. at a housing estate in Nongprue.

They and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the girl, whose name has been withheld due to her age, 16. She had already been pulled up from the pool by local residents nearby.

Emergency responders provided CPR before rushed her to a local hospital.

Her mother whose name was not given told The Pattaya News that her daughter is not a strong swimmer. She did not know when her daughter went into the pool. The mother’s friends told her that the teenager was struggling in the water which is when they pulled her out and called for help from rescue services.

As of last night, the daughter is recovering in a local hospital.
