A female driver died after she tragically crashed her vehicle into a wall in Nongprue this afternoon (August 9th).
Emergency responders were notified of the accident at 4:00 P.M. in Soi Nong Maikan.
They and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the damaged sedan and a damaged residential wall.
The driver, Ms. Sureerat Sangrangsri, 37, was initially found having sustained serious injuries inside her sedan and convulsing. Despite the best efforts of first responders, she was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident shortly after.
The house owner, Ms. Supannee Songsakun, 39, told The Pattaya News, “I heard a loud noise while in my home and ran outside to find the accident and the driver convulsing and seriously injured. I immediately called the police for assistance.”
At this stage police believe based on early evidence that the driver had suffered a personal health emergency, crashing into the wall afterward. The investigation is still ongoing with police attempting to determine if the impact of the accident or a health emergency took the life of the victim.
