Roof cleaner survives fall from the fourth floor of Pattaya building after slipping on a tile

Pattaya –

A thirty-eight-year-old man has broken his arm and chin after reportedly accidentally falling down from a rooftop he was cleaning at a residental building in Pattaya.

Emergency responders were notified of the incident Thursday afternoon (July 29th) at 4:00 P.M. at a residental building in Soi Poethisan, Naklua.

The first responders and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the injured man, Mr. Sanga Chimkrod, 38, from Chainart. He had broken his arm and his chin. However, he was conscious, upbeat, and cognizant despite the roughly four-story fall.  He was taken to a local hospital for medical assistance.

Mr. Sanga told emergency responders, “I was cleaning the rooftop before I slipped on a tile area I was cleaning and fell off the roof, about four stories above the ground. I don’t know how I managed to survive with relatively minor injuries but am thankful.”

Sanga is expected to make a full recovery from the harrowing fall.
