More than 1,000 sets of lunchboxes were distributed at Bali Hai Pier, South Pattaya, today, July 25th for local residents who had been affected by recent businesses closures, measures, and restrictions mandated by the Thai government to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 Coronavirus.
First, a video version of this story can be seen here:
As of 11:30 AM., Plantations International Co., Ltd. has offered a number of lunchboxes and water bottles to more than 1,000 people who were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The event was performed with the cooperation of Chonburi provincial authorities to assure orderliness and health measures implementation. Pattaya Police also assisted during the event to make sure people were socially distanced, wearing masks, using hand sanitizer, and other precautions.
Plantations International representatives revealed that two years ago the company had arrived in Thailand to organize social activities but when there was the outbreak of Covid-19, the company focused on assisting and helping Thai people in need.
The company, therefore, has distributed supplies to reach as many people as possible, with a hope that this kindness will be passed on to all Thai people to help them go through this crisis together.
