Chonburi –
A Borwin driver escaped injuries after colliding with a pickup truck driver taking a U-turn before overturning her own vehicle in Chonburi earlier this week.
The Borwin Police were notified of the accident on Tuesday of this week (June 29th) at a U-turn in the Borwin area of Chonburi.
Officers and the associated local press arrived at the scene to find the overturned car and the damaged pickup truck on the road causing traffic to be backed up for about a kilometer. Traffic delays lasted for over an hour, according to Borwin police.
The sedan driver, Mrs. Siriphon (no last name given), 28, told Borwin police that the pickup truck driver was making a U-turn before hitting the back of her own vehicle, causing it to overturn. She managed to escape from the vehicle with no injuries despite the terrifying incident and being flipped upside down.
The pickup truck driver, Ms. Paramee, (also no last name given) 37, told Borwin police she thought that the car driven by Siriphon had already passed when she was making a U-turn. She also escaped injuries.
Borwin police are reviewing CCTV nearby to attempt to determine who was responsible for the accident for potential legal liability charges.
