Unidentified Pattaya driver seriously injured after crashing his motorbike into a power pole

An unidentified motorbike driver has sustained serious injuries after he crashed his motorbike into a power pole early this morning (June 4th) in the Pattaya area.

Emergency responders were notified of the accident at 2:00 A.M. in Soi Krom Tee Din (Land Office) 4 in Nongprue.

They and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the damaged motorbike and the power pole.

Nearby, first responders found the injured man, aged around 30, who was unconscious and bleeding heavily from a severe head injury. He was rushed to a local hospital for medical assistance. He had not been wearing a helmet.

Local witnesses told The Pattaya News the motorbike driver was driving at high speed and lost control at a curve before plunging into a nearby power pole.

Nongprue police are reviewing CCTV at the scene to find the exact cause of accident. They are also working on identifying the injured man as he had no license or ID card with him.
