Rescue workers were notified of the incident on Wednesday afternoon ( March 31st) at a plastic factory in Baan Sa Na, in the Na Wanghin sub-district.

Staff at the factory reportedly told Panat Nikhom police that it was raining and accompanied by strong wind gusts before the collapse. However, the staff was in a secondary building during the collapse.

Factory management did not immediately release a statement about the incident or an overall estimate of financial damage due to the collapse of the factory building.
