Having trouble viewing us in Australia on Facebook?

We have had some messages from readers in Australia that stated our Facebook page for The Pattaya News and TPN National were not visible. (This doesn’t seem universal, however, as some have stated they were able to do so or that service was later restored.)

Facebook is currently in a “spat” with the Australian government over proposed media-related laws that have to deal with possible payments for sharing or posting Australian-related news on their platform. As a result, they have implemented blocks that essentially cause sharing of Australian news or viewing of it to be unavailable for many (most) major news websites. They have also implemented blocks on many international news providers.

Although we don’t cover Australian news in general and are local, regional, and national in Thailand with limited world news, it appears the dispute has affected us in at least some manner to some viewers in Australia.

If this is you we wanted to remind you of some of the other great ways to read our content or follow us in our signature below.  All of our news can be followed also on RSS feeds like Google News, Feedly, or Feedburner.

We also post all our videos from Facebook on Tiktok, Youtube, and major videos on our website under the Videos section.

We are very lively on Twitter and also have a private Line group for breaking news that you can find here: https://line.me/ti/g2/rdq1rcr3BlzaDyLuQ9eplw
