Chonburi announces 16 new local transmission cases of Covid-19

The Chonburi Governor today (December 31st)  has announced 16 new confirmed cases of local transmissions of Covid –19.

The Chonburi Governor Phakarathorn Tienchai has announced Chonburi has 16 new confirmed cases of local transmission of Covid -19.

“We are considering the relief of some measurements such as restaurants and cinemas to make people’s normal life easier but still under high measurements.”, he added.

More information from local Chonburi offices are expected to be released imminently.

Yesterday afternoon, (December 30th), the Chonburi Public Health office has announced 108 confirmed cases of local transmission of Covid –19 in Chonburi. Most of them were in the Banglamung District while thirty of them were migrant workers. This caused Banglamung to enter a highly controlled status seeing the closure and restriction of many local non essential business.
