National –
Thailand’s Meteorological Department announced today, October 22, that Thailand has officially entered the winter season today, with the lowest temperatures in the morning in upper Thailand.
From October 22nd onwards, a high-pressure area from China has extended to the North, the Northeast, and the Central area, causing a 2-4 decree Celsius drop in temperature with cool and windy weather and less rain in these areas.
The wind hovering Thailand at an altitude of 100 meters to an altitude of 3,500 meters has moved towards the Northeast or East while the upper winds of 5,000 meters have shifted to the West, resulting in the lowest temperature dropping in the morning in upper Thailand.
However, the weather in the country remains unstable at the start of the winter season this year. Showers are likely to occur in some areas across the country while isolated heavy rains are likely in the South.
