Pattaya Marine Office warns small boats going into the sea due to likely storms over the next few days

Pattaya, Chonburi-

The Pattaya Marine Office has issued a warning to boat captains and operators to beware of potential storm conditions.

Thailand’s Meteorological Department has announced this morning, October 7, that the chance of heavy to very heavy rain triggered by a tropical depression over the middle South China Sea is likely to occur across the country from October 7th to the 9th.

The Pattaya Marine Office today has issued this warning for boat captains and operators that they should avoid storm areas in the open sea from today until Saturday (October 10).

Boat captains are being advised to monitor the weather forecast. Boat passengers must wear life-jackets when travelling in the sea.

The order has emphasized that if the weather is not safe for boating, boats should stay ashore.
