Cold weather and wind expected for next week in Pattaya area, lows around 18C, Thai Meteorological Department warns locals to bundle up

Pattaya-

The Thai Meteorological Department has warned the Eastern region, along with most of Thailand, that cold winter weather is finally here.

Some areas could see lows overnight in the next week as chilly as 18C.

This is on top of consistent wind expected due to a cold air mass coming from Upper China that will make it feel ever colder, possibly around 14C.

We are aware that for many of our foreign readers this will be considered comfortable or even warm for their own countries, however is unusually cold weather for Thailand. Brisk sales of sweaters are already being reported in the Pattaya area by Thai residents not used to chilly weather.
