Thai Meteorological Department warns of “cold” temperatures next 24 hours, dropping to 22 C.

40 percent of the greater Bangkok area will be hit by strong winds and rain, with temperatures dropping to 22-23oC in the morning, according to the Meteorological Department’s weather forecast covering 24 hours from 6pm on Sunday.

Temperatures in the rest of the country are also forecast to drop to a low of 20-21oC in northern provinces, 22-23oC in north-eastern provinces, 22-23oC in central and eastern provinces and 23-24oC in the south.

The highs around the Kingdom will range between 28-33oC, according to the Met Department.

The cold weather affecting all parts of Thailand is due to an intense cold front from China, which is looming over the north of the country.
