22 year old man killed after running into the back of a water truck in Pattaya

Pattaya-
A motorbike driver was pronounced dead at the scene after crashing into a water truck in Pattaya early this morning.

Captain Chanan Kasetbua of the Pattaya City Police was notified of the accident at 1:30 AM at the Chaiyapruek Intersection.

Police, emergency responders and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the body of Mr. Kittipan Duangrassamee, 22, bleeding heavily from multiple wounds lying on the road.

Nearby, rescue staff found Kittipan’s damaged motorbike, which was still embedded in the back of the water truck due to the force of the collision.

The water truck driver, Mr. Poomipat Chaichana, 21 was waiting for Pattaya police at the scene.

Poomipat told Pattaya police that his water truck was waiting at the intersection on a red light. Kittipan’s motorbike slammed into the back of his truck at high speed without braking, he claimed.

Pattaya Police continue to look into the incident and review CCTV.
