Chonburi-
A Cambodian driver has been pronounced dead at the scene after he crashed his motorbike into a power pole in Mueang Chonburi Sunday night (September 19th).
The Mueang Chonburi Police was notified of the accident last night on Bypass Road in Nong Maidang.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the body of Mr. Lak Samai, a Cambodian national whose age was not given by medical response teams. He had sustained severe head injuries.
His damaged motorbike and helmet were found on the road nearby. The impact of the crash appeared to have knocked off Lak’s helmet, according to responders, and it may have not been secured properly.
There were no immediate witnesses to the accident.
At this stage, Mueang Chonburi police believe that Lak might have driven at high speed before losing control and crashing into the power pole.
Police are checking CCTV footage to find the exact cause of the accident.
