Pattaya-
A thirty-six year old man was found stabbed on Pattaya Beach this morning.
The victim, 36 year old Athapol Tokrisana, was found by passerby in front of Royal Garden on Pattaya Beach Road at 5:30 AM this morning. He shouted for assistance drawing attention. He had a knife protruding from his buttocks area. Police, The Pattaya News and rescue workers from the Sawang Boriboon foundation were called to assist the victim.
Athapol was not overly cooperative with Pattaya Police in regards to how the incident happened. He claimed he was attacked “for no reason” and the suspect ran away. However, he had no description of the suspect or further details.
Pattaya Police will be reviewing CCTV in the vicinity of the incident. Police stated to the Pattaya News they believe there is more to the story and will interview Athapol after he recovers from his injuries at Banglamung Hospital.
