Chonburi man threatens to jump from bridge after his wife reportedly refused to sleep with him

A man threatened to jump from a pedestrian bridge this morning after his wife had refused to sleep with him. This was the seventh time he had threatened to jump from this bridge according to rescue workers.

The Semet Police was notified of the incident at about noon today at the pedestrian bridge in front of the Big C Homepro department store on Sukhumwit Road in Mueang Chonburi district.

They arrived at the scene to find Mr Kampang Sermsri, 43, on the bridge.

Rescue workers and police were finally able to convince him to come down from the bridge. He claimed that he wanted to jump as his wife had refused to sleep with him.

Chonburi Rescue workers said this was the seventh time that he has threaten to jump from the same bridge for the same reason.
