Pattaya —

Pattaya Mayor Mr. Poramase Ngampiches recently increased the number of CCTV cameras to 82 cameras from the previous 28 for better traffic management and flood monitoring.

According to the mayor, the new cameras are strategically placed around the city and will provide real-time monitoring of traffic conditions, flooding, and other potential hazards to allow quick and effective responses from city authorities.

This also supports a new project implementing AI and 5G across Pattaya as we reported here.

“I have increased the number of surveillance cameras in Pattaya from 28 to 82,” Mr. Poramase stated via social media. “These cameras will help us monitor traffic congestion, flooding, and other potential issues, allowing us to respond more promptly and effectively.”
