Update: Pattaya Police Release CCTV, Give Update on Health of Foreign Tourist Involved in Viral Brawl with Security Guards on Soi Six

Pattaya-

Despite what Pattaya police call heavy false online rumors and gossip, Pattaya police have announced that an unidentified foreigner involved in a viral brawl with Soi 6 guards over the past weekend was NOT, according to the police, seriously injured, in a coma, or deceased and have released what they say is city CCTV footage of the group walking back to a hotel after the incident.

The group have not filed any police reports or complaints and declined going to a hospital or medical aid, added Pattaya Police.

This comes after heavy speculation online from social media netizens on the condition of the foreigners involved, especially one specific foreigner kicked in the head by a contracted security guard for an independent group of bars. The guards have since apologized but not been officially charged, as police said the other party involved has not filed any legal complaints or reports and police stated they need the other groups statements to proceed forward legally.

The footage appears to show three foreign men crossing a Pattaya street at dusk (The incident happened while it was still light outside) in the same clothing seen in the viral fight video. One man’s shirt appears to be torn, eagle eyed users have noted.

Pattaya police have previously stated they are still trying to get the men involved to come in for a statement, even if they don’t file an official complaint, to hear their version of events.
