Thai boxing champion and grilled pork vendor “PTT Apichat Farm” gave away over 1,200 grilled pork skewers and 200 sticky rice packets to Pattaya residents in celebration of Manchester United’s FA Cup victory.
The giveaway took place on May 27th, 2024, at Mr. Wanchalerm’s grilled pork shop located on Soi Kho Phai in South Pattaya. The Pattaya News reporters arrived at the shop this morning and were greeted by a lively atmosphere. Numerous Manchester United fans and customers, many wearing their team jerseys, eagerly lined up to receive the free treats from Mr. Wanchalerm.
Mr. Wanchalerm explained that he had previously promised on social media to give away 1,200 grilled pork skewers if Manchester United secured the FA Cup. Following the Red Devils’ 2-1 victory over Manchester City on Saturday, Mr. Wanchalerm stayed true to his word. He began grilling the pork early this morning and even added 200 packets of sticky rice to the giveaway.
The event was a big success, with Mr. Wanchalerm receiving much praise on social media for his generosity and commitment to his word.
