A 40-year-old Thai man was seriously injured and his two young children were also hurt after their motorcycle crashed into a guardrail on Highway 331 in Pattaya, last night, May 6th.
The accident occurred at around 8:50 PM on the inbound lane of Highway 331 near Baan Koh Kao in the Khao Mai Kaew sub-district, Banglamung district, Chonburi province.
Upon arrival at the scene, rescue workers from the Pattaya Sawang Boriboon Foundation found a Thai man, identified as Mr. Khanti Inpech, 40, lying on the side of the road with severe injuries. His 7-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter were found nearby, having suffered moderate injuries. Their Honda Scoopy-I motorcycle had also sustained damage from crashing into the guardrail.
According to reports, Mr. Khanti was understood to have lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a guardrail. He was taken to the nearest hospital, along with both of his injured children.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation as of press time.
