The Thai cabinet has approved to extend the 30-day visa-free entry for Indian and Taiwanese visitors until November 11th this year, 2024.

The exemption was first announced after the Cabinet meeting on October 31st, with the Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin saying that the policy will take effect from November 10th to May 10th, 2024.

Now for the update:

The Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin told the press on Tuesday (May 7th) that the Thai cabinet has approved to extend the visa exemption for Indian and Taiwanese passport holders for another six months from May 11th to November 11th, 2024 in order to continue increasing tourism and to boost the economy.
