Pattaya —

Pattaya City is aiming to attract more tourists from the Middle East with health and wellness tourism.

Pattaya City Mayor Mr. Poramase Ngampiches, along with his delegation, is currently attending the Arabian Travel Mart (ATM 2024) from May 5th to the 11th, 2024, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a mission to attract more tourists from the region.

ATM is the third largest tourism promotion event in the world, held under the theme “Empowering Innovation: Transforming Travel Through Entrepreneurship”. This year, Pattaya, Chonburi province, brought health tourism products and services to demonstrate with Ang Sila stone massage and Mind and Soul therapy, which received a lot of attention from Middle Eastern attendees.

A total of 12 entrepreneurs from hotels, hospitals, tourist attractions and tour companies met with business partners at the Pattaya Variety booth. The mayor’s delegation was also invited by Ms. Nipa Nirannut, Consul General of Thailand in Dubai, and Ms. Thapanee Kiatpaiboon, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, to preside over the opening ceremony of the Thailand Pavillion.
