At 3:30 AM, Pol. Lt. Col. Chaowalit Suwanmanee, Deputy Superintendent of Pattaya Police Station, received a report of a man behaving erratically in front of a rice porridge shop on Pattaya Central Road in the Nongprue sub-district, Banglamung district, Chonburi province. Upon receiving the report, Pol. Lt. Col. Chaowalit and his team of officers rushed to the scene.

There, officers encountered a 30-year-old Thai man, wearing a red and white T-shirt and black jeans, sitting in the middle of the road in a state of agitation. The unidentified man was shouting, and once he saw the police, he started running away.

The man attempted to enter the rice porridge shop, causing both Thai and foreign customers to flee in fear. Fortunately, police officers quickly managed to capture him with the help of civilians nearby.

The suspect, who claimed that his nickname is Ton, reportedly admitted to consuming methamphetamine before his rampage. He was then taken into custody at the Pattaya Police Station for a drug test and legal proceedings.

Mr. Prawit Chanhong, a 51-year-old security guard at the rice porridge shop, recounted the incident, stating that the man suddenly appeared from nowhere and began acting erratically in front of the shop. Fearing for the safety of the customers, he immediately called the police to apprehend the man.

Nobody was injured in the incident.
