Navy Officers Provide Selfless Aid to Injured Motorcyclist in Sattahip

A group of navy officers in Sattahip, Chonburi, rushed to aid a motorcyclist who was injured in the middle of the road under the scorching sun.

The incident occurred at 3:00 PM on April 30th on the road leading to a fresh market but went viral just recently on social media. A motorcycle had collided with the rear of a baht bus, leaving the motorcyclist, a 48-year-old unidentified Thai man, trapped and unable to move, in the middle of the road. The sun was beating on the unidentified victim at the time of the accident.

However, upon witnessing the accident, four navy officers from the Special Affairs Unit of the Sattahip Naval Base, who happened to be passing by, immediately ran to the victim’s aid.

The selfless officers, consisting of both men and women, retrieved an umbrella from a nearby store to provide shade for the injured man. They also used a portable fan to help cool the victim down.

One of the officers, identified as Lt. Prapaphon Samphawaphon, called for assistance from the Sawang Rojathantham Sattahip Foundation rescue team, while the others directed traffic to prevent further accidents.

The four officers remained with the injured man, providing support until the rescue team arrived and transported him to the hospital. They waited in the sun, tirelessly working for more than 30 minutes, according to eyewitnesses.

The selfless actions of these officers were captured on video and shared on social media. It garnered a lot of praise and admiration from netizens.
