Jomtien Beach Vendors Arrested for Illegally Selling Fireworks

Pattaya —

Three vendors were arrested at Jomtien Beach last night, May 4th, for illegally selling fireworks.

The arrest was carried out by Banglamung officials who acted in response to residents’ complaints about noises and disturbances caused by late-night fireworks at Jomtien Beach.

The operation resulted in the arrest of three unidentified individuals who illegally sold fireworks to beachgoers. The suspects were apprehended near The Now Hotel. They were transported from the beach on the back of a pickup truck to a police station to face charges related to their actions.

In addition to apprehending these sellers, the Banglamung officials also conducted random checks on teenagers sitting at the beach. No illegal substances were found during these checks.

Police have recently been stepping up patrols on Jomtien Beach overall in response to regular noise complaints, especially from fireworks, as we previously covered here.
