Pattaya International Fireworks Festival to Compete for More Global Recognition

Pattaya

Pattaya City is planning to submit its Pattaya International Firework Festival for the prestigious “2024 IFEA / HAAS & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards Competition” in the Grand Pinnacle category, held in the United States.

The decision was announced at a recent meeting, chaired by Pattaya City Mayor Mr. Poramase Ngampiches, on May 1st, 2024, at the Pattaya City Hall.

According to the announcement, the decision aimed to promote Pattaya’s annual Pattaya International Firework Festival as a global event, enhance the city’s image, and stimulate economic growth for both Pattaya and Thailand.

Mr. Poramase stated that the festival garnered significant attention from both domestic and international visitors. The event also already secured the Asia Festival City Award, the Asia Night Festival Award for three consecutive years, and the Pinnacle Awards in the Best Event Program category.

To further elevate the event’s recognition, the city will submit its application for the “2024 IFEA / HAAS & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards Competition” in the Grand Pinnacle category. The competition will be held in the United States this month, with results announced in October.

The meeting concluded that if the city could not not meet the 2024 application deadline, it will proceed with the submission next year.
