Pattaya-The Central Shopping Center in Pattaya was abuzz with excitement as the 3rd CISW MedCann Festival kicked off, marking a significant step towards raising medical cannabis to international standards.
The event, which runs from April 25th to the 28th, was inaugurated by Mr. Rattanachai Suthidechanai, a Pattaya medical cannabis expert, alongside representatives from the eastern region’s Convention and Exhibition Promotion Office (TCEB).
Joining the opening ceremony were Mr. Jacky Ong, Chairman of the CISW Holding Group Co., Ltd., Mr. Suha Demirez, founding president of The Old Weed Man Co., Ltd., and Mr. Tommy Vo, president of Mountain Grow Co., Ltd. The distinguished guests collectively cut the ribbon, symbolizing the start of a festival that promises to blend medical innovation with business opportunities.
This year’s CMCF 2024 is themed around medical cannabis, health tourism, and the burgeoning business prospects within the industry. Attendees can expect to see a showcase of new and special products, alongside a host of engaging activities designed to educate and inspire.
A highlight of the festival is the CISW MedCann International Seminar (CMIS), which took place on April 26th at the Avani Pattaya Resort. The seminar featured in-depth presentations by industry experts on the latest advancements in medical cannabis. It aims to provide a vital platform for professionals and entrepreneurs from Thailand and beyond, with participation from leading countries like Colombia, the United States, Germany, Israel, and Thailand.
